Mike and Bonnie McFerrin

Mike & Bonnie McFerrin

Mike McFerrin, a Texas native, has been an avid archery hunter for over twenty years. He has taken numerous Pope & Young trophy whitetail bucks, including the Texas state record velvet buck that scored 215 3/8 gross and 197 5/8 net. He has volunteered his time with the Texas Youth Hunters Program in cooperation with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, and serves as an official Texas Big Game Awards scorer. Mike resides in Kingwood, TX with his wife, Bonnie & children Christian, MaKenna, & Georgia-Kate.

Raised in the great state of Texas, Bonnie and Mike married in 1994 and while she knew about his love of the outdoors, she never intended to hunt for herself. Over the last nine years Bonnie has harvested several Pope & Young bucks, including the current Texas state record for a female archer, which scored 195 5/8 taken in 2008. Mike and Bonnie have appeared on Outdoor Channel in two different television series prior to hosting Legends of the Fall.

Dave Bogart

Dave Bogart

Dave Bogart started hunting years ago when he was twelve years old and from that point on Dave was hooked and at age 20 he harvested his first P & Y buck. In the fall of 2006, Dave was talked into picking up a camera for the first time and it was like starting all over again. The first year with a camera was rough, but he kept at it and the following year he found success and was able to kill mature bucks on film. Dave resides in Brownstown, IL with his wife Kristin and is employed as a correctional officer at Vandalia Correctional Center.
